Men's Basketball remains undefeated with win over Concordia

The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team remains undefeated following an 80-64 win over Concordia College today. The Hornets have matched their best start (3-0) since the 1994-95 season.

Kalamazoo received 44 points from its bench paced by Dirk Rhinehart's game-high 17 points, including five of six three point shooting. Brad Phillips added 15 points and moved into the 15th position on the Hornets' all-time leading scorer list with 1,026 career points, surpassing Tom Olson's mark of 1,025. Adam Verseput pulled down 10 rebounds and scored nine points while blocking four shots.

Kalamazoo shot 50.0 percent (29-58) from the field and 57.1 percent from three-point range on 12 of 21 shooting.

The Hornets will take some time off for exam week at the College and return to action at Wabash College December 10 and 11.
