Men's Basketball falls to Aquinas

The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost 83-54 to Aquinas College at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids today.

The Hornets trailed 39-17 at halftime after shooting 18 percent from the field. Kalamazoo shot 21 percent for the game while Aquinas shot 52 percent.

Adam Verseput led Kalamazoo with 16 points, connecting on 8-8 free throws while pulling down 11 rebounds. Nathan Burns added 10 points.

Kalamazoo falls to 6-4 and hosts Alma College in a MIAA opener Tuesday night.
