ANGOLA, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team
lost 75-53 at Tri-State on Wednesday.
Tri-State matched a gym record by making 16 three-pointers
in the game. The Thunder shot 46.4 percent from the field
and made 16-of-28 three-pointers (57.1%).
Tri-State led 39-21 at halftime after limiting Kalamazoo
to just 6-of-28 shooting in the first half. Kalamazoo shot
31 percent for the game while making 6-of-22 three-pointers
(27.3%).
Kalamazoo was outrebounded 42-34.
Pat Clancy and Thomas Greer each scored eight points to lead
Kalamazoo. Tyler Worst and Adam Bezemek each scored seven.
Tony Benford led Tri-State with 15 points.
Kalamazoo wraps up the road portion of its MIAA schedule
with a trip to Albion on Saturday at 3 p.m.
