2006-07 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

CINCINNATI - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost 69-44 to Heidelberg College in the opening round of the College of Mount St. Joseph Tournament. Heidelberg led 35-21 at halftime.

Heidelberg shot 43.9 percent from the field while holding Kalamazoo to 33.3 percent. The Hornets were 2-of-9 from three-point range and 8-of-17 at the free throw line. Heidelberg held a 43-26 rebounding advantage.

Mat Kellogg led Kalamazoo with 11 points and 5-of-9 shooting. Jon Matych made two three-pointers and scored eight points off the bench.

Kalamazoo will play in Saturday's tournament consolation game at 3 p.m. against either North Park or Mount St. Joseph.
