2006-07 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team came up lost 77-59 to Albion on Wednesday.

Albion led 40-23 at halftime. Kalamazoo opened up the second half with a 19-9 run and cut the Albion lead to seven (49-42) at the 12:18 mark. Albion slowly widened the gap and twice led by 20 points in the final six minutes.

Albion shot 44.3 percent from the field while Kalamazoo shot 40 percent. Albion made 19-of-24 free throws while Kalamazoo hit 9-of-13. Albion held a 41-31 rebounding advantage.

Pat Clancy and Nate Orozco each scored 10 points to lead Kalamazoo. Mat Kellogg added eight points and eight rebounds.

Zak Silas led Albion with 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting. Jim Cash added 15 points off the bench.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Saturday at Olivet.
