2005-06 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

GRAND RAPIDS - The men's basketball team won its third-straight game with a 75-43 win over Davenport University in the opening round of the Aquinas/Brann's Shootout. Kalamazoo led 34-17 at halftime.

Kalamazoo shot 51.6 percent from the field while holding Davenport to 32.7 percent shooting. The Hornets held a 32-17 rebounding advantage.

Henry McCain led the Hornets with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting off the bench. Brad Brinkman added 10 points and four rebounds. Mat Kellogg, Phil Weaver and Adam Bezemek each scored eight points.

Kalamazoo will play Aquinas in the tournament championship game on Saturday at 3 p.m.
