2004-05 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

GRAND RAPIDS - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team fell 86-67 to Calvin College in the opening round of the MIAA Tournament on Wednesday. Calvin led 24-21 with six minutes left in the first half and closed out the half with a 19-2 run to lead 43-23 hat halftime.

The Hornets rallied in the second half to take a 61-58 lead, but the Knights went on a 28-6 run to end the game.

Calvin shot 50 percent from the field while holding Kalamazoo to 39.7 percent. Kalamazoo held a 37-32 rebounding edge.

Ryan Konwinski led the Hornets with 19 points and four assists. Tony Wichmann added 18 points and eight rebounds. Pat Clancy scored nine points off the bench.

Dan Aultman led Calvin with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Kyle Trewhella scored 15. Josh Meckes added 13 and Andy Draayer scored 10 points off the bench.
