KALAMAZOO - The men's basketball team lost 74-65 to Olivet at home on Wednesday. Kalamazoo trailed 41-32 at halftime, took a lead midway through the second half, but it slipped away in the final minutes.

Kalamazoo shot 50 percent from the field while Olivet shot 52 percent. Olivet was 7-of-22 from three-point range while the Hornets made 3-of-12.

Ryan Konwinski led the Hornets with 16 points. Tony Wichmann scored 14 points. Tim Herman scored 11 with four assists, and Kyle Konwinski finished with eight points and 10 rebounds.

Ronnie Pearson and Steve Johnson scored 12 points apiece to lead Olivet.
