KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team earned
its second consecutive win, defeating the University of Chicago
65-63 at home on Tuesday. Kalamazoo led 32-31 at halftime.
Tony Wichmann led the Hornets with 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting.
Ryan Konwinski added 16 points. Phil Weaver finished with
nine. Kyle Konwinski had seven points and five assists.
Brandon Woodhead led Chicago with 13 points. Nate Hainje
and Clay Carmody each scored 10 points.
Kalamazoo shot 53.2 percent from the field. Chicago shot
46 percent. The Hornets were outrebounded 31-22, but scored
25 points off Chicago turnovers.
Kalamazoo (3-5) travels to North Central on Saturday.
