2004-05 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

ELMHURST, Ill. - The men's basketball team overcame an 18-point first half deficit to pull out a 74-72 win at Elmhurst College Saturday night. Elmhurst led 40-33 at halftime.

Tony Wichmann hit the game-winning shot in the final seconds and led the Hornets with 18 points. Kyle Konwinski scored 16 points and Phil Weaver added 10.

Chris Martin led Elmhurst with 25 points and eight rebounds. Nick Michael added 23 points for Elmhurst (5-2).

Kalamazoo shot 55.8 percent from the field and connected on 20-of-24 free throws. Elmhurst shot 52.3 percent and made 21-of-29 free throws.

Kalamazoo returns home Tuesday to face Chicago.
