2004-05 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost 64-61 to Southwestern University (TX) in the opening game of the Trinity Classic. Kalamazoo led 22-21 at halftime, but Trinity hit 15-of-19 shots from the field (79%) in the second half to pull out the win.

Kyle Konwinski led the Hornets with 16 points and six rebounds on 6 of 11 shooting. He was 4 for 7 from three-point range. Tony Wichmann scored 13 points with and six rebounds.

Kalamazoo shot 41.5 percent from the field. Southwestern shot 51.1 percent.

Robert Cates led Southwestern with 17 points.

Kalamazoo will face Trinity on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT.
