2004-05 Kalamazoo College Men's Basketball

WHEATON, Ill. - The men's basketball team lost its season-opener 75-60 to top-40 Texas Lutheran in the opening round of the Lee Pfund Classic at Wheaton College on Friday. Kalamazoo will play the loser of the MacMurray/Wheaton game on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT.

Tony Wichmann led the Hornets with 20 points, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals against Texas Lutheran. Ryan Konwinski added 18 points and six rebounds. The Hornets shot 43.6 percent from the field, but netted just 3-of-12 from behind the arc.

Tommy Stohlhandske led Texas Lutheran with 22 points and seven rebounds. Texas Lutheran shot 57.8 percent from the field and made 19-of-34 at the free throw line.
