ALMA - The men's basketball team recovered from a 10-point halftime deficit, but fell 88-85 at Alma on Saturday. Alma led 48-38 at the break.

Kalamazoo shot 54.7 percent from the field while Alma shot 50.9 percent. Alma made 17-of-23 at the line while Kalamazoo was 7-of-10.

Ryan Konwinski led Kalamazoo with 31 points and 12 rebounds. Tony Wichmann scored 21 points with five rebounds.

Anthony Jones led Alma with 30 points.

The Hornets return home this Wednesday, Feb. 2 to face Olivet at 7:30 p.m.
