KALAMAZOO - The men's basketball team won a shootout with Tri-State 105-103 on Wednesday. Kalamazoo led 56-49 at halftime. Kyle Konwinski hit the game-winner with three seconds left, and a three-point attempt by Tri-State at the buzzer bounced in-and-out.

Kalamazoo shot 56.1 percent from the field while Tri-State shot 48.2 percent. The Hornets held a 54-30 rebounding advantage, but turned the ball over 21 times to Tri-State's 10.

Tony Wichmann led the Hornets with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Konwinski scored 20 points with six assists. Eli Savit added 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting.

Brandon O'Leary led Tri-State with 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting. Britain Flowers scored 28 points off the bench on 10-of-20 shooting.
