KALAMAZOO - The men's basketball team fell 67-53 to Hope
College at home on Saturday. The Hornets trailed 32-22 at
halftime and played without starting point guard Tim Herman
who was out with an injury.
The Hornets shot just 33.3 percent (19-57) from the field
while Hope shot 50 percent (27-54) overall. Hope outrebounded
Kalamazoo 39-28.
Kyle Konwinski and Tony Wichmann each scored 14 points with
eight rebounds to lead the Hornets. Ryan Konwinski scored
11 points with four rebounds.
Daane Griffeth led Hope with 21 points. Kyle Kleersnyder
scored 15 points with nine rebounds off the bench, and Andy
Phillips scored 10 points.
