ADRIAN - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team came back from a 12-point halftime deficit to tie the game 64-64 with 4:15 left, but fell in the end 74-71 at Adrian College.
Kalamazoo shot 50 percent from the field while Adrian shot 50.9 percent. Adrian held a 27-26 rebounding edge. Kalamazoo had 15 turnovers to Adrian's 10.
Kyle Konwinski led the Hornets with 15 points. Tony Wichmann scored 14 points with 10 rebounds. Jevon Caldwell-Gross added 13 points and Tim Herman finished with 10.
Adam Novak led Adrian with 17 points and nine rebounds. Brian Schaefer and Jeff Nokovich each scored 14 points for the Bulldogs (14-10, 7-4 MIAA).
Kalamazoo plays its final home game of the season this Saturday at 4 p.m. against Albion.
