KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team lost to Calvin 78-62 on Wednesday. Calvin led 37-26 at halftime.
Calvin shot 48.5 percent from the field while holding Kalamazoo to 37.3 percent. Calvin outrebounded Kalamazoo 45-31. Each team had 13 turnovers.
Dan Aultman led Calvin with 27 points and seven rebounds. Chris Prins added 21 points and five rebounds for the Knights (8-6, 2-1 MIAA).
Tim Herman led the Hornets with 11 points and five rebounds. Chris Elliott and Tyler Worst each added nine points for Kalamazoo (5-9, 1-2 MIAA).
The start of the game was delayed one hour while waiting for officials to arrive.
