CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - Kalamazoo rolled to a 102-70 win over Averett College in the consolation game of the Wabash College Tournament.
Erik Rhinehart led the Hornets with 23 points and seven rebounds and went 5-for-5 from behind the arc. Nathan Burns scored 16 points and was 4-of-5 from three-point range. Dirk Rhinehart added 14 points and Jevon Caldwell-Gross finished with 11 points.
Jake Vereen led Averett with 20 points.
Kalamazoo shot 50 percent from the field while holding Averett to just 31 percent. Kalamazoo held a 46-42 rebounding advantage.
Kalamazoo (5-1) returns home on Thursday to face the University of Chicago at 7 p.m.
