OLIVET - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team defeated Olivet 94-76 on Saturday. Kalamazoo led 38-32 at halftime.
Kalamazoo shot 52.2 percent from the field while holding Olivet to 42.6 percent. Kalamazoo outrebounded Olivet 46-26.
Dirk Rhinehart led five Hornets in double figures with 23 points and seven rebounds. Mike King had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Erik Rhinehart added 13 points, Kevin Baird 11, and Scott Montmorency 10.
De'Andre Pruitt led Olivet with 14 points. Travis Schellhammer and Derek Cox each added 11 points for the Comets (11-12 / 3-7 MIAA).
Kalamazoo (18-4 / 7-3 MIAA) travels to Albion on Wednesday.
