KALAMAZOO - The men's basketball team defeated Adrian 67-51 on Wednesday. Kalamazoo led 30-29 at halftime.
The Hornets shot 43.1 percent while holding Adrian to 34.5 percent. Kalamazoo held a 36-31 rebounding advantage.
Dirk Rhinehart, Nathan Burns, and Erik Rhinehart paced the Hornets with 14 points apiece. Mike King had a team-high eight rebounds.
Dan Walter led Adrian with 22 points and seven rebounds. Brad Maska added 11 points for the Bulldogs (9-12 / 4-6 MIAA). Steve Brooks was held to four points on 2-of-12 shooting (0-6 3FG).
Kalamazoo (17-4 / 6-3 MIAA) travels to Olivet on Saturday.
