GOSHEN, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team improved to 3-0 with an 86-73 win at Goshen College.
Dirk Rhinehart led Kalamazoo with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Scott Montmorency added 12 points. Kevin Baird scored 10 points. Nathan Burns led the team with eight rebounds and three assists.
Jeremy High led Goshen with 24 points and nine rebounds. Eric Walsh scored 15 points with seven rebounds.
Kalamazoo shot 50 percent from the field (28-56) and 47.4 percent from three-point range (9-19). The Hornets also connected on 21-of-26 free throws (80.8 percent). Goshen shot 37.5 percent from the field and made 22-of-34 at the line (64.7 percent). Kalamazoo had only 11 turnovers while Goshen had 13.
Kalamazoo's next game is at Concordia University on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
