MARIETTA, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team defeated
Kenyon College 91-64 on Sunday. Kalamazoo led 43-31 at halftime.
The Hornets shot 52.4 percent while holding Kenyon to 43.5 percent. The
Hornets committed only 10 turnovers while holding a 33-28 rebounding advantage.
Scott Montmorency led Kalamazoo with 21 points. Dirk Rhinehart added 19
points while Nathan Burns finished with 10 points and five assists.
Chad Plotke led Kenyon with 29 points and 12 rebounds.
Kalamazoo (8-5) opens MIAA play on Thursday at Hope College at 7:30 p.m.
