LIVONIA - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team improved to 2-0
on the season with an 81-73 win at Madonna University tonight.
Dirk Rhinehart scored 22 points to lead the Hornets. He was 9-of-9 at the
free throw line. Nate Troyer had a double-double with 12 points and 11
rebounds. He also had four assists.
Kevin Baird added 13 points and freshman Tony Wichmann chipped in 11.
Kalamazoo shot 39.1 percent from the field. Madonna shot 38.5 percent.
Kalamazoo held a 51-37 rebounding advantage, including 24 rebounds on the
offensive end. Kalamazoo led 45-34 at halftime.
Kalamazoo (2-0) hosts Concordia College on Saturday at 3 p.m.
