KALAMAZOO - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team defeated Alma College 68-58 on Wednesday. The Hornets led 29-21 at halftime.
Dirk Rhinehart scored a game-high 18 points with four rebounds. Nathan
Burns scored 16 points with six assists and four steals. He was 6-of-6
from the field and 3-for-3 at the free throw line. Scott Montmorency scored
15 points with five rebounds.
Spencer Wideman led Alma with 14 points off the bench.
Kalamazoo shot 55.6 percent from the field while holding Alma to just 28.6 percent. Alma outrebounded Kalamazoo 36-29. Kalamazoo had 24 turnovers and Alma had 22.
Kalamazoo (10-6/2-1 MIAA) travels to Albion College on Saturday.
