
Men's Basketball Falls at AlbionThe Hornets shot a dismal 30.2 percent from the field, including just 3-of-13 (23.1%) from 3-point range. Albion shot 44.2 percent from the field. Both teams struggled at the line. Kalamazoo hit just 12-of-21 free throws (57.1%). Albion was 14-of-24 (58.3%) at the line. Kalamazoo committed 24 turnovers while Albion turned the ball over just 14 times. The Hornets did manage to win the rebounding battle, 42-33. Doug Lepisto led Kalamazoo with nine points. Scott Montmorency had eight points and four rebounds. Nathan Burns added seven points. Nate Troyer led the team with seven rebounds. Albion's Andrew Neidlinger led all scorers with 16 points. Eric Serges had 11 points off the bench. Mike Knight had a team-best six rebounds. Kalamazoo falls to 8-14 overall (3-7 MIAA). Albion improves to 15-6 overall (6-3 MIAA). |
