Most Improved Player – Tyler Stewart, Senior, Okemos. A three-year starter and two-year team captain, Tyler raised his level of play on both ends of the court in 2010-11. On offense he improved his shooting percentage over ten percent to 48%. He was also second on the team in assists with 73. Most Outstanding Teammate – Josh Haney, Sophomore, Middleville. Josh wins this award without playing a single minute in a varsity contest this season. Coming over from the football team, he practiced three weeks with the team before his season came to an end from a dislocated kneecap in early December. Though not able to play, Josh still attended practices and games, giving constant support to the coaching staff and his teammates. His commitment and team first attitude were inspiring to everyone throughout the program.
