Kalamazoo College Football Players Earn All-MIAA Honors
Eric Gerwin leads a group of three Kalamazoo College football players named to the All-MIAA First Defensive Team. Gerwin, a senior linebacker from Beverly Hills, was named MIAA Most Valuable Defensive Player. He recorded a team-high 88 tackles and is the College’s second leading tackler all-time.
Two other seniors vital to one of the league’s top defenses, defensive back Jeff Dillingham of Birmingham and defensive lineman Nick Lachapelle of Dearborn, were also named to the All-MIAA First Defensive Team.
Jamie Zorbo, senior defensive lineman from Battle Creek, was named to the All-MIAA Second Team.
Jamal Ksar, Jason Charnley, Brian Alexander, Tom Hillemeier, Eric Soulier, Pat Rorai, David Fritz, and Jim Hurd all received honorable mention recognition.
