Dillingham Named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week

Jeff Dillingham (Birmingham, Mich./Groves HS) was named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week for his contributions to the Hornets 25-20 win over MacMurray College this past Saturday.

Dillingham returned six punts for 77 yards and two kickoffs for 102 yards. His longest punt return was 26 yards and the longest kick return 52 yards.

Heading into last week’s game Dillingham ranked 26th in the nation in NCAA III with an average of 26.8 yards per kickoff return. With the MacMurray game, Dillingham has increased his average to 30.2 yards per return. National statistical leaders are updated late each Monday.
