April 27, 2001 - Kalamazoo College at Hope College (MIAA 9-inning Game)
HOLLAND - The Kalamazoo College baseball team was shutout 4-0 at Hope College Friday afternoon.
Kalamazoo was held to just five hits. Brent LeVasseur had two hits including a double. TJ Thayer also had a double. Jim Hurd and Nathan Brouwer each had singles.
Ben Tucker pitched seven innings and took the loss, allowing 10 hits while striking out six and walking two.
The two teams return to action in a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m.
