April 13, 2001 - Kalamazoo College at Alma College

ALMA - Kalamazoo committed seven errors, including four in a seven-run seventh inning, in a 10-0 loss at Alma College on Friday.

Ben Tucker (1-4) takes the loss for Kalamazoo. Only two of the ten runs were earned. Tucker struck out four batters while walking one.

Kalamazoo managed only three hits offensively. Aaron Thornburg and Jim Hurd each had singles. Joe Wicklander had a double and a stolen base.

Kalamazoo is now 4-12 (1-3 MIAA). The Hornets will face Alma in a doubleheader on Saturday.
