Kalamazoo College vs. Univ. of the
South (Sewanee) at Panama City, Fla.
Sewanee scored the game-winning
run on a one-out single in the bottom of the seventh inning as Kalamazoo
falls to 0-2 on the season.
The Hornets had eight hits while allowing nine. Nathan Brouwer and Todd
Wilson each had two hits. Garry Penta had a double. Conor Lefere, Brent
LeVasseur, and Pat Ellis each had singles. LeVasseur and Ellis each had
two RBI's. Penta and Jim Hurd each added an RBI.
Zach Burton started and pitched four innings for the Hornets. Rick Sharp
entered in the fifth inning and suffered the loss.
