Baseball splits at Olivet

OLIVET - The Kalamazoo College baseball team split a doubleheader at Olivet College today, losing 9-3 and winning 5-1.

Kalamazoo had four hits in the first game. Todd Wilson, Dave Adamji, Joe Botke, and Jim Izeluk each singled. Zach Burton suffered the loss.

Kalamazoo managed 10 hits in the second game and Ben Tucker pitched a four-hitter to earn his third win of the year. Steve Lucas was 3-for-4. Seven other Hornets had hits including Joe Botke's solo home run.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Thursday, May 11, when it hosts Orchard Lake St. Mary's for a nine-inning game beginning at 3:30 p.m.
