Baseball drops final two games of seasonZach Burton allowed only two earned runs in the first game while striking out five and walking none. He threw a complete game but came up short as the Hornets only managed to put one run on the board. Joe Botke was 3-for-3 with a double. Todd Wilson also had a double and the only RBI. Botke homered in the second game and had three RBI's as the Hornets fell short, 11-5. Steve Lucas was 2-for-4. Ross Gladding was 2-for-2. Todd Wilson had two RBI's and a triple. The Hornets finish the 2000 campaign with a record of 7-26 (4-14 MIAA). |
