Baseball drops MIAA opener at Adrian

ADRIAN - The Kalamazoo College baseball team dropped its first three MIAA games of the year at Adrian College this weekend, losing 8-3 in the first game, 5-4 in the second, and 16-14 in Sunday's nine-inning game.

Senior third baseman/catcher Dave Adamji pounded out 10 hits in 12 at-bats, setting an MIAA record for most hits in a series. Adamji also had five RBIs in the series, including four in Sunday's game in which he was 5-for-6 at the plate. He was also named MIAA Player of the Week.

Brent LeVasseur had five hits and three RBIs in the series. Todd Wilson was 4-for-7 with five runs scored. Steve Lucas and Jim Hurd each had three hits.
