Welcome
The Kalamazoo College Sports Medicine
Staff and the Department of Athletics would like to
welcome you to the official homepage of the Athletic
Training Department. This website has been designed
to help assist students, parents, visiting teams, faculty
and staff better understand the profession of athletic
training and the services we provide. We would like
to take this opportunity to introduce our staff and
let you know about the services that you have at your
disposal.
Our sports medicine staff consists of
2 full and 1 part-time certified athletic trainers,
orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine fellows, and other
various area sports medicine specialists. Our mission
is to provide the student-athlete with the highest quality
healthcare possible and help maintain the safety and
welfare of all who participate in intercollegiate athletics
here at Kalamazoo College. The comprehensive healthcare
services include a very integrated and holistic approach
to injury prevention, injury recognition and assessment,
treatment, and rehabilitation of those injured.
