Residential Life : Policies and Regulations

Termination of Contract
If a student officially or unofficially withdraws from the College, the refund will be calculated using the later of 1) the date of formal withdrawal or 2) the last date class was attended. Any occupancy of a residence hall or house or use of food service beyond that date will be charged to the student's account and is not subject to refund calculations.

If this contract is terminated by the College because the student failed to observe and abide by all College regulations and policies, or State of Michigan or federal laws, or the College determines that a student poses a threat to the safety or welfare of members of the College community, a cancellation fee equal to all remaining room charges under this contract will be assessed. A student whose contract is terminated in this fashion must vacate his or her room on a date and at a time determined by the College and must remove all belongings within 24 hours.

Students who withdraw, are dismissed or otherwise leave the College must vacate their rooms and remove all belongings within 24 hours.
