Harmon Hall is both a first-year and upper class community located right on Academy Street next to Anderson Athletic Center. Harmon offers the widest variety of living options on campus. Harmon students enjoy a large front patio area complete with picnic tables, benches and a grill. It is a great place to relax with friends or to be outdoors to read or study.

Room Types:

• Quads (two bedrooms with two beds each and a study lounge) with either private bathroom or community bathroom - shared by students of the same gender.
• Single rooms (all community bathroom).
• Two-room doubles (one bedroom with two beds and a study lounge) with a shared bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the people of the same gender who live in the two-room double next door.
• One two-room triple with a bathroom - shared by students of the same gender..
• The College does not keep specific room dimensions.

Room Furniture:

• The furniture in the bedrooms is movable (with the exception of most bedrooms which have built in dressers).
• Each bedroom comes with the following for each resident: bed with mattress (extra long sheets recommended), dresser (sometimes shared), closet, desk with bookshelf and light, and desk chair.
• Beds can be bunked and some students choose to build lofts.
• College owned furniture needs to remain in the suites and cannot be removed.

Other information about Harmon Hall

• All floors are tile and students are welcome to bring area rugs or carpet remnants if they wish. However, the College does not permit the use of carpet tape on the floors due to the damage to the tile.
• Windows are double hung, double paned windows with built in mini blinds.
• Harmon Hall is equipped with a fire sprinkler system.
• All bedrooms have one cable TV connection and Ethernet ports (one per student). However, the entire building is also equipped with wireless computer capabilities.
• All bedrooms have one telephone connection with local telephone service. Students are responsible for bringing their own telephone. Long distance calls can be made with calling cards.
• Harmon Hall has a large main floor lounge with a TV area, as well as two large fireplaces at both ends of the lounge. It is a popular space for Harmon residents to gather for socials, as well as to study.
• Laundry facilities for Harmon residents are located in the basement. Click here for laundry information.
• A kitchenette with a stove, microwave, sink and vending machines is also available to Harmon residents on the main floor.
