Residential Life: Fall 2008 Housing Process

Housing sign up will take place during the 9th week of spring quarter in the DeWaters 2nd Floor (Main) Lounge

  • You must be a full time student for fall 2008 to receive a lottery number and participate in the housing assignment process.
  • All students sign up through the lottery process. Students cannot retain their same room from spring to fall. Lottery numbers will be posted Thurs of 8th week, May 22 on the Residential Life bulletin board next to the Mail Hut.
  • Housing cards can be picked up in advance at the Student Development Office (1st floor DeWaters). Every student needs to fill out a housing card to sign up for a space.
  • When signing up for a space, one must fill the entire room/quad/suite (two people for a double, three for a triple, four for a quad, six for a suite, etc.). All individuals who will occupy a room/quad/suite sign up together under the best lottery number, either in person or via proxy.
  • Go to www.kzoo.edu/reslife for the full housing policy and housing requirement information.
  • Upper class halls include Crissey, Severn, DeWaters and selected areas in Harmon.
  • Important Note: A double room connected to another double room by a bathroom (i.e. DeWaters) is not considered a suite or quad-those spaces are signed up as doubles.
  • Interested in the opportunity to room with a visiting international student? Contact Residential Life!
