Crissey Hall is an upper class living community and located on the north-east end of campus. Crissey offers suite-style living with an open community feel. Students enjoy hanging out in the grassy area in front of Crissey during fall and spring days, playing Frisbee, grilling out with friends, or just sitting on a blanket reading or socializing. Crissey Hall is also conveniently located right next to the Natatorium.

Room Types:

  • Six-person, single gender or co-ed suites comprised of two single bedrooms, two double bedrooms (students sharing double rooms must be of the same gender), a common lounge and a bathroom shared by students of the same gender. (click here to view a typical Crissey suite floor plan).
  • Five-person suites comprised of one single bedroom, two double bedrooms (students sharing double rooms must be of the same gender), a common lounge and a bathroom.
  • One two-room triple with a private bathroom shared by students of the same gender.
  • The College does not keep specific room dimensions.

Room Furniture:

  • The furniture in the bedrooms is built in (except for the triple, which has movable furniture).
  • Each bedroom comes with the following for each resident: bed with mattress (extra long sheets recommended), drawers for storage, wardrobe, desk with bookshelf and light and desk chair.
  • Each lounge area comes with end tables, coffee tables, chairs and a couch or loveseat.
  • College owned furniture needs to remain in the suites and cannot be removed.

Other information about Crissey Hall

  • All floors are tile and students are welcome to bring area rugs or carpet remnants if they wish. However, the College does not permit the use of carpet tape on the floors due to the damage to the tile.
  • Windows are double hung, double paned windows with built in mini blinds.
  • All bedrooms have one cable TV connection and Ethernet ports (one per student). However, the entire building is also equipped with wireless computer capabilities.
  • All bedrooms have one telephone connection with local telephone service. Students are responsible for bringing their own telephone. Long distance calls can be made with calling cards.
  • Crissey Hall is equipped with a fire sprinkler system.
  • Crissey has a large basement lounge with a TV area, a foosball table. It is a great area for residents to both study and socialize.
  • A large full kitchen with two stoves, microwave, sink and refrigerator is available to Crissey residents.
