
The Department of Anthropology and Sociology at Kalamazoo College invites applications for a tenure-track position in sociology at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2009. Areas of specialization are open, though an ability to teach quantitative methods is required. Given Kalamazoo College’s focus on international and intercultural education and our joint Anthropology and Sociology program, we are particularly interested in candidates who employ an international perspective in their work.
Ph.D. or evidence of imminent completion required. Salary is competitive and consistent with level of experience. A strong commitment to and experience in undergraduate teaching is expected. Willingness to involve students in candidate’s research projects is a plus.
