Web Resources for PHIL 305
Biomedical Ethics
Below are several links to sites that provide information and opinions
relevant to bioethics. Keep in mind that some of these sites are
run by advocates of particular positions. For instance, the Hemlock
Society is not merely reporting information about assisted suicide, they
are advocating a substantial shift in policy and thinking about assisted
suicide. Part of using these resources well will be careful consideration
of what to take at face value and what to take critically on any one of
these sites.
These links were all working when I most recently revised these pages.
If you find links that are no longer "live", please let me know.
If you find additional sites that might be of interest, please let me know.
(Keep in mind that I would look favorably upon such contributions when
making decisions about class participation.)
