Life in the "BUSH" at Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary in Tsavo West NP
Where is Tsavo West NP?
Tsavo is the park enclosed by dotted lines in the picture
east of Nairobi (the square) and slightly south. The park is mostly
semi-arid, bush country. Animals include the stereotypical African
savanna game.

Life in the bush:
daily encounters with elephants, buffaloes, leopards, etc.
(nothing is more amazing than waking up to an elephant feeding right near
your banda)
living under semi-arid conditions
pit-latrines and cold showers
geckos falling on you
birds cleaning your pans
whole bunch of beans and corn (getheri) for almost every
meal
takes 10 hours to make a phone call
every day is amazing (always a rainbow in the afternoon)
