Basic EMT
Education:
I took the Basic EMT (Emergency
Medical Techincian) course at a local communtity college in Kalamazoo (Kalamazoo
Valley Community College). This 9 credit course provided me with
the necessary training and knowledge to provide basic first aid and life-saving
management of critical injuries. I learned essential assessment skills
and treatment.
Class Requirements:

135+ hours of classroom lecture/instruction

20+ hours of ER exposure

30+ hours of ambulance exposure
-
Valid Health care CPR certification
