Computers and School:
In this day and age few classes allow
a student to turn in a paper that is not typed. Furthermore, the
classes themselves often involve relative familiarity with computers.
For biology classes I had to write up lab reports that often included graphs
and manipulation of the data on excel or other spreadsheets. In addition
with more and more classes using the web as part of their curriculum, a
student has to be comfortable with using the web and email to communicate
and find information for the class. As a result, I am very comfortable
with computers and consequently I can readily learn new programs and use
computers.
