I fullfilled my QR requirement during my sophomore fall by taking Applied Statistics I.  While most of this class was a review for me because I took AP Statistics in high school, it did refresh my memory of Z-tests, T-tests and basic data analysis.  Because of my strong understanding of the material I was able to become the TA for the class winter quarter.  I am not only able to use what I know about statistics in a classroom setting, but I can also apply this knowledge to real-world situations which has enabled me to be more a informed reciever of information.
