For my first-year seminar I had
to speak at Chapel. Our class presented "Our Vision of America".
My complete vision can be seen on my written expression link.
In this presentation I had to read
a paragraph that I wrote in this paper to the entire Chapel audience.
I was not a big fan of doing this, but I had to, so I did. With my
friends, even in big groups, I like to speak. But when I am on center
stage, I just don't like it. This is a bit strange to me, since I
love to perform. But I just don't like to read aloud, so Chapel presentation
was not one I enjoyed.
I have also given many presentations
in classes. I feel more comfortable when I give these than when I
did Chapel, but it still is not something I enjoy very much, unless I am
talking about something I feel very knowledgeable of.
