Fee Assessment
There is no fee for most services at the Student Health Center. Students are charged for in-house diagnostic tests, physical exams, travel clinics, annual gynecology exams, some medications, supplies, and some treatments. The Student Health Center accepts cash, check, or charges posted to the student account. We do not process credit/debt cards. The Student Health Center does NOT bill insurance. We will provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company. Outside lab tests will be billed to the insurance company by Bronson Hospital Laboratory.

Health Insurance
All students are strongly encouraged to have health insurance. We recommend that you review your health insurance coverage and become aware of special requirements and provisions of your plan, such as reimbursement policies, in-network versus out-of-network providers, and prescription coverage.

Your health insurance provider's reimbursement policies and preferred providers, pharmacies, laboratories, etc. should be well understood by the student prior to arrival at "K." Each student will need to carry a copy of their insurance card with them and to have knowledge of their prescription co-pay amount.

Outside lab tests will be billed to the insurance company by Bronson Hospital Laboratory. We provide Bronson with your insurance information, so please be sure to update us with changes.

Confidentiality
All Student Health Center records are confidential. Please visit our website for more details about our confidentiality policy http://www.kzoo.edu/healthsv/rights%20and%20responsiblites.html

Entrance Medical Requirements
Be sure your student has completed the Entrance Medical Records by August 1st. For more information, please refer to the letter or our website http://www.kzoo.edu/healthsv/entrance.html. Incomplete medical forms will result in an inability to move into residence halls, participate in athletics, LandSea, and start classes.

The staff at the Student Health Center may be reached at (269) 337-7200 or visit our website at www.kzoo.edu/healthsv/. We welcome all questions and look forward to meeting you in the fall!
