This collection includes digitized images of American magazines and journals documenting the life of America's people from the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction. 6,500 periodicals comprised of more than twelve million pages will be available, the most comprehensive collection of American periodicals published between 1691 and 1877.
