SCIFINDER SCHOLAR
SciFinder Scholar provides direct online
access to databases of the Chemical Abstracts Service
(CAS). Only current
Kalamazoo College students, faculty, and staff may use
SciFinder Scholar.
SciFinder Scholar is available:
- in Upjohn Library Commons, on the Reference computers
- in the Dow computer lab, and
- on your personal computer if it is connected directly
to the campus network (such as in a residence hall
or other networked campus building). Download the proprietary
SciFinder Scholar client software for either Macintosh
or Windows through the installation
page. (You must use your username and password
to access this page.)
SciFinder Scholar is not available from
off-campus.
Kalamazoo College shares its 2 connections with two
other colleges. If all sessions are in use you will be
asked
to try again
later.
SciFinder Scholar is available 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, except every Sat 10:00pm - Sun 1:00am and
the
1st Saturday of the month from 5:00pm - Sun 1:00am.
Please remember to log out when you
are finished using SciFinder Scholar to allow others
to use the database.
