media, maps, archives, manuscripts, scores, and computer.
Spans over 4,000 years of recorded knowledge with 400 languages
represented. Now includes the Library of Congress Subject
Headings as its thesaurus. WorldCat also contains the former
NetFirst database of Internet and Web-based materials.
World Cat does not include book chapters or individual
articles in journals, magazines, and newspapers.
